Do I have an infection?

A wound infection or an infection at the site of surgery. Increased pain may be the first symptom you feel. The amount of pain is usually a significant increase and not the typical post op pain. You can also look for foul smelling drainage, increased swelling, or redness.   A mild elevation in temperature does not mean that you have an infection.
