Dr. Sorelle is originally from Acushnet, MA. Dr. Sorelle graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY, with a B.S. in Biology, where he was on the honor roll and graduated as the president of his class. Dr. Sorelle went to medical school at the UAG in Guadalajara, Mexico, and finished his medical school training at New York Medical College.
Dr. Sorelle then obtained a categorical general surgery residency position, level one trauma, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, OH. Dr Sorelle then completed an orthopedic hand surgery fellowship at the UCONN/Yale Combined Hand Surgery Fellowship at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT.
Dr. Sorelle started his complete hand care institute, the Minimally Invasive Hand Institute, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr Sorelle has published chapters and articles in some of the most prestigious hand surgery textbooks as recently as 2010. Dr Sorelle regularly attends and teaches at the yearly conference of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH).
Dr. Sorelle served eleven years in the United States Navy and has lectured and conducted surgical classes for Navy tactical field medics in March 2005.
Dr. Sorelle has won the top 100 doctors in Las Vegas in 2017.
